CCTV
Even customers who already have CCTV may be unaware of the huge advances in system performance brought about by rapidly advancing digital processing technology.
Specifications and capabilities of today’s new technology far exceed that of equipment considered 'state-of-the-art' only five years ago.
Modern dome cameras have the capability to be remotely varied for pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ), or deployed to any number of user-defined presets in seconds. Video signals may be transmitted to the monitoring station in a number of ways, by wireless means (microwave or radio link), conventional PSTN or ISDN and Network or ADSL links.
- Exterior/interior CCTV systems
- Covert surveillance systems
- 24 hour monitoring linked to mobile response services
- No obligation site surveys
Continuous live video may be taken where constant monitoring is required, or alternatively passive infra-red (PIR) sensors may be used to trigger live connection to our remote monitoring station when an intruder approaches.
Monitoring and Response
A key consideration when choosing electronic security systems is the monitoring and response cover to be employed. In response to an unacceptable level of false alarm calls, the ACPO Security Systems Policy 2000 was recently adopted by all police forces in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Under this policy, the police will provide a reduced response at a site after two false alarms are received in any twelve months, and will not attend at all after five false alarms. Gardwell offer a complete solution, with a 24-Hour manned control room providing continuous monitoring of CCTV and alarm installations. Any incident requiring intervention calls on the resources of our mobile patrol team who will rapidly attend the site, undertake any remedial action necessary and re-secure the premises. Full incident reports are supplied to customers, together with recommendations for any changes to prevent further occurrence.
Intruder Alarms
GSS supply, install, maintain and monitor intruder alarm systems to the highest industry standards. Each customer location is visited and security requirements are individually assessed prior to preparation of an installation proposal.
Systems provided range from simple ‘bell only’ alarms through to complex, multizone set ups with autodialing to a monitoring centre when activation occurs.
