Norfolk Constabulary 2011 NOSCA's.

Norfolk Constabulary held their third annual event of the NOSCA’s which took place at Dunston Hall, Norwich on Thursday 17 June 2010. These awards recognise the invaluable contribution and hard work by not only officers and staff, but also individuals within the community, to make Norfolk an even safer place to live, work and visit.
The judging panel consisted of
o    Phil Gormley, Chief Constable
o    Mark Hill, Assistant Chief Executive – Norfolk Police Authority
o    Chief Superintendent Bob Scully – Citizen Focus
o    Julie Inns - Unison
o    Chief Inspector David Benfield – Police Federation
When presenting the award for the GSL Dardan sponsored category, Mark Duffy commented “Once again, GSL Dardan is very pleased to be sponsoring the outstanding team of the year award.  When a group of individuals work towards the same goal it can produce incredible results. Effective teamwork doesn’t just happen automatically and the winners of this award should be congratulated for their hard work and dedication.”  
The award acknowledged outstanding activity, contribution and performance of a department in working professionally to achieve the force strategy and principles.
The welcome and closing addresses were given by the new Norfolk Chief Constable Phil Gormley who welcomed the support of partners and sponsors such as GSL Dardan whose support and help make the evening possible. Other event sponsors included, Shell, Eastern Daily Press, Anglia Home Improvements and Norwich City College.
