A swimmingly great sponsorship for talented Isaac
Currently training at the City of Norwich Swimming Club and the Yarmouth Swimming Club, Isaac displays dedication and commitment to his sport by training for a staggering 15 hours every week over a period of six days, including 13 hours of swimming training and 2 hours of land training.
Isaac, who has been swimming for eight years, broke the British record for 200m breaststroke at the Nationals in July 2011. He is currently ranked 1st place for his age group in the 200m breaststroke, 100m breaststroke, and 200m individual medley. Isaac is a talented swimmer and qualified for the British Championships earlier this year despite being too young to compete.
Alex Pinniger is Isaac’s coach at the City of Norwich Swimming Club and hopes that Isaac will qualify for the European Championships within the next two years. Speaking about Isaac’s performance at the National Age Group final, Alex said: “Isaac’s performance was inspiring and appreciated by everyone watching. Credit must also go to Great Yarmouth Swimming Club and coach Garry Jarvis, who has coached Isaac from a young age”.
Speaking of his ambitions as a swimmer, Isaac said that he would like to represent Great Britain at the 2016 Olympics. He said: “If I was able to represent the country at the Olympics, I’d be extremely honoured and excited”.
Isaac’s mother Kelly said: “The sponsorship money will be of fantastic benefit to Isaac as he will be able to enter more open meets around the country, which are difficult for us to afford without external funding”.
