Cost-effective and reliable premises security can be provided with a combination of modern electronic security systems and mobile uniformed patrols. Scheduled visits normally encompass both external and internal inspections of the premises, whilst incident response can be provided though GSL Dardan's 24-hour monitoring centres for alarm activations and CCTV coverage.

Verification:

Customer premises are normally "tagged" with a number of electronic keypoints. As the security officer visits the site, they record their presence at each keypoint with a handheld data recorder, which timestamps each visit for electronic verification of the patrols. Readouts of patrol times/locations are routinely provided to our customers to guarantee service levels.

Operational Support:

Mobile patrols are in constant communication with our 24-hour control room to verify the location of officers and to check on their welfare. The positions of all GSL Dardan patrol vehicles are also continuously tracked using Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite technology for enhanced efficiency and safety. Working in close liaison with the police, our controllers are able to identify potential hazards or threats, and advise our customers and officers accordingly.

Dog Patrols:

Some sites may be particularly remote, require additional search capability, or require officer protection. GSL Dardan operates a number of specialist dog units to deploy handlers and trained patrol dogs in a highly professional manner, providing an enhanced deterrent to would-be intruders.
